Billing & Plans

Tempo offers flexible subscription plans and a pay-as-you-go AI credits system. Manage your billing from the Account section of your dashboard.

Your Account

When you sign up for Tempo, you get a free account where you can build and customize your site. You can use your account indefinitely without a subscription. A subscription is only required when you want to publish your site (take it live) or access Pro features.

Subscription Plans

Tempo has two plans:

  • Basic — Core features including your content dashboard, MLS listings, blog, and themes.
  • Pro — Everything in Basic plus custom domains, landing pages, analytics, integrations, lead forms, social media marketing tools, and pre-construction listing data (ON, BC, AB).

14-Day Free Trial

Both plans include a 14-day free trial. When you activate a subscription, payment is deferred for 14 days so you can try the plan before being charged. You can cancel anytime during the trial at no cost.

Monthly vs. Annual Billing

You can choose to pay monthly or annually. Annual billing includes a discount compared to month-to-month pricing.

Managing Your Subscription

To view or change your plan:

  1. Go to Account → Plans in your dashboard.
  2. Toggle between monthly and annual billing to compare pricing.
  3. Click Get Started on the plan you want, or click Manage Subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.

From the billing portal you can upgrade, downgrade, update your payment method, or cancel your subscription.

note

Some plans include an MLS data feed fee based on your real estate board. This appears as a separate line item on your invoice.

AI Credits

AI features like page generation in the page builder use credits. Credits are purchased separately from your subscription and don't expire.

Purchasing Credits

  1. Navigate to Account → Credits in your dashboard.
  2. View your current balance, total purchased, and total used.
  3. Select a credit package and click Purchase Credits.
  4. Complete the one-time payment through Stripe.
  5. Credits are added to your balance immediately.

New accounts receive a small credit bonus to get started with AI features.

How Credits Are Used

Credits are consumed when you use AI page generation in the page builder. The credit cost depends on the complexity of the generated content. Your remaining balance is shown in the top-right corner of the page builder.

A minimum balance of $1 in credits is required to start an AI generation. If your balance is too low, you'll be prompted to purchase more credits.

Tracking Usage

The Credits page in your account shows your full transaction history, including purchases, bonuses, and usage.

Add-Ons

In addition to your subscription and credits, Tempo offers optional add-ons:

  • Startup Package — A guided setup call with manual site content entry to get you up and running quickly.
  • Theme Store — Browse and purchase professionally designed themes for your site.
  • Custom Themes — Work with the Tempo team to create a fully custom design.
