Listing Suggestions
Listing Suggestions lets you recommend specific properties to your clients and collaborate with them directly on your site. When you suggest a listing, your client receives an email notification and can view it on their personalized For You page — where they can mark their interest, leave comments, and have a conversation with you about the property.
Listing Suggestions requires a Tempo Pro subscription. Your clients must have an account on your site to receive suggestions. See Client Portal for details on client accounts.
Suggesting a Listing
- Navigate to Leads → Site Users in your dashboard.
- Click on the user you want to suggest a listing to.
- In the Suggested Listings section, click Suggest a Listing.
- Enter the MLS number of the property.
- Optionally, add notes to explain why you think this listing is a good fit — for example, "Great backyard for the kids" or "Walking distance to the school you mentioned."
- Click Submit.
Your client will receive an email with a preview of the listing, your notes, and a link that signs them in and takes them directly to the property.
Each listing can only be suggested once per client. If you need to re-suggest a previously removed listing, you can add it again.
Tracking Client Responses
After suggesting listings, you can monitor your client's feedback from the same client detail page in your dashboard. Each suggested listing shows:
- Interest status — Whether the client marked the listing as Interested, Not Interested, or hasn't responded yet (Undecided).
- Comment count — How many comments are on the listing.
- Your notes — The notes you included when suggesting the listing.
- Comment thread — A full conversation thread where you and your client can discuss the property.
Replying to Comments
You can reply to your client's comments directly from the dashboard:
- Open the user's detail page from Leads → Site Users.
- Scroll to the suggested listing you want to discuss.
- Type your reply in the comment box and submit.
Your client will receive an email notification with your comment and a link back to the listing on their site.
Removing a Suggestion
To remove a listing you've suggested, click the remove button next to the listing on the client's detail page. This permanently deletes the suggestion and all associated comments.
What Your Clients See
For You Page
Clients can access their suggested listings at the For You page on your site. This page shows all listings you've suggested in a card layout with:
- Listing photo, price, address, and property details (beds, baths, square footage)
- Your notes explaining why you suggested it
- The date you suggested it
Filtering Suggestions
Clients can filter their suggestions using tabs at the top of the page:
- All — Every suggestion you've sent
- Undecided — Listings they haven't responded to yet
- Interested — Listings they liked
- Not Interested — Listings they passed on
Responding to Suggestions
For each suggested listing, clients can:
- Mark interest — Click the thumbs up or thumbs down button to indicate whether they're interested. They can change their response at any time.
- Leave comments — Open the comment thread to ask questions or share thoughts about the property. For example, "Love the layout but is the basement finished?" or "Can we schedule a viewing?"
Email Notifications
The system sends email notifications to keep both you and your client in the loop:

All client emails include a secure auto-login link so they can go directly to the listing without needing to sign in manually.
